Excellent Weekend

I got very lucky this past weekend. Friday, I went to the Orange County Fair to see the LeAnn Rimes concert. Yeah baby!!! Saturday, I was supposed to go to Chris' ex girlfriend's parents' house in Riverside for a pool party. I bitched about that and he was smart enough to drop out despite his friends giving him a guilt trip about it. To make up for his sacrifice, we went to Universal Studios. We got the buy a day get a year free deal so now we can go back for free through December. We went down Wisteria Lane from Desparate Housewives on the tram ride. The new Mummy ride was very short but good. It took me by surprise. We didn't have time to see the new Fear Factor stage show yet but I think that a a good thing. I don't like the show. Who would ever do these awful things???

Sunday, we practiced a bit of volleyball at my apartment complex and went swimming. He was actually impressed with my skill. Duh! I told him I was a starter on an undefeated championship team. Then, we met up with his Dad at the Newsroom in West Hollywood for dinner. It is a healthy, trendy, celebrity trap. I think the Olsen twins used the front of the restaurant on one of their TV shows.

Now, I am squeezing this brief update into my busy schedule. I don't have time for anything but work and Chris. I don't even attempt to do my homework. Next week we start on real cases. Scary!!!
